Reach wins road safety award

Reach is delighted to have been presented with the coveted Fleet Safety Award at the 2010 Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards which are granted to companies in recognition of their outstanding contribution to improving road safety.

Working with their fleet road risk management partner Essential Risk Consultancy, Reach set about improving the safety record of its fleet of 600 vehicles two years ago and the efforts have now been rewarded.

Peter Handscomb, Finance Director, Reach comments:

‘Two years on from starting this project we now have 35% lower accident rates and insurance premiums decreasing accordingly. However, most importantly our 600+ drivers on the road are much more knowledgeable than ever before which results in greater driver safety which is paramount to us.’
